North Dakota Gov. Dalrymple says he won’t seek re-election
The Republican made the announcement in a news release Monday, ahead of an afternoon news conference. Dalrymple says he and his wife, Betsy, plan to spend more time with family, including their five grandchildren.
Dalrymple was the state’s lieutenant governor when he took over the governor’s office in 2010, when then-Gov.
Dalrymple, who served for 10 years under Hoeven, was elected to his first full term as governor in 2012.
