Due to Swedish statute of limitations, WikiLeaks founder
Three out of four sexual assault allegations against Assange are set to expire within a week.
As per Swedish law, the statute of limitations on allegations of unlawful coercion and one count of sexual molestation expire Thursday, while another count of sexual molestation expires next Tuesday, but the expiry date over the allegation of “rape, less serious crime” against Assange will be in 2020.

“The coming discussions will show if this is a way forward,” Cecilia Riddselius, the senior Swedish justice ministry official handling the Assange case, said according to The Guardian. “I do not know when the discussions will begin. Undertaking a general agreement takes time and is normally a longer procedure.”
